We document in BIM so coordination happens in the model rather than on site. It improves collaboration between disciplines, shortens the distance between design intent and construction, and gives clients an asset record they can keep using long after handover.
Sustainability is treated the same way: embedded in orientation, material and passive comfort from the first concept, not added as a certificate at the end.
