Business News Indigenous Business Lunch
Members of the Radian Architecture team attended the Business News Indigenous Business Lunch, where Managing Director Richard Tester joined a panel of Aboriginal business leaders from across Western Australia to discuss the future of Indigenous business and procurement.
The discussion explored the opportunities created by government procurement reforms and the importance of ensuring those opportunities translate into long-term outcomes for Indigenous businesses. Increased participation is encouraging; lasting impact comes from sustainable businesses, stronger supply chains and careers that endure beyond individual projects.
One comment from Richard summed it up: being Indigenous will let you put a foot in the door, but that is all it will do. You have to deliver a quality, reliable service, because if you do not, the door shuts quickly.
Thanks to Business News for hosting, to Hon. Don Punch MLA and the fellow panellists, and to the clients and partners who joined Radian Architecture and RASP Australia on the day.
